District Unit Sikar

 NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE District Unit Sikar has started functioning in the District Collector's Office in 1988. And since then NIC is providing technical as well as Information Technology (IT) support to the District Administration. The services includes Software development for the district level needs, implementation of State and  Central  projects. Fundamental /Operation training are organised for District Administration Employees as well as for  various departments time to time. And also helps the District Administration in implementing IT related projects. 

NIC, District Unit is associated with various Projects like Rural Soft for DRDA , Land Record Computerization Project and its implementation at Tehsil Level on Window Platform , Computerization of Treasury at District as well as at Sub treasury  Level ,District Court Computerization ,Cattle Census, Computerization of State Insurance/GPF Deptt. also providing time to time support to district administration in various major activities like Lok Sabha/Vidhan Sabha and election activities etc.

NIC District Unit is equipped  with Latest Technology Internet Protocol Advantage VSAT and that  works on various OS platforms like Linux/Unix/ Windows. Internet/ Email facility  is provided to various Govt. Departments from Server installed at District Unit.
